Born in 1956. Born in Kumamoto prefecture. Manga artist and illustrator. Debuted in 1977. Masterpieces "Recommendation !! Pirates" "Stop !! Hibari-kun! ] "Age" and many others. With his novel pop sense and unique design, he has a great influence on the manga world. Since the mid-1980s, he has been active in many fields as an illustrator. In 1992, won the 38th Bungeishunju Manga Award at "Hisashi Eguchi's Explosion Dinner Show". Published many art books such as "KING OF POP" in 2015, "step" in 2018, "RECORD" in 2020, and "She" in 2021. The "Hisashi Eguchi RECORD Exhibition" was held in March and June 2022 in Tokyo and Osaka, and ended with great success. "Illustration Exhibition Her" will be held at the Iwate Museum of Art from July 16, 2022.
