Suehiro Maruo MARUO Suehiro
Inspired by the Taisho era painter Kashō Takabatake, Suehiro Maruo himself draws with a touch based on the Taisho era. He develops sadistic and surrealistic depictions, and his unique personality has become a major presence in his work. He is also active in various fields such as manga such as "Shoujo Tsubaki", "Dream Q-SAKU", and "Kinlandons", posters by Shuji Terayama, and CD jackets. Cultural people also have many fans.
Biography
Born in Nagasaki Prefecture in 1956. Moved to Tokyo at the age of 15 after graduating from junior high school.
After changing various occupations, he made his debut as a manga artist with "Knight of the Ribbon" in 1980.
Announced manga artists, illustrators, essays, etc. one after another. My hobby is walking in the graveyard at midnight.
His major works include "Midori: The Camellia", "Dream Q-SAKU", "Dr. Inugami", "National Kid", and "Laughing Vampire".
