Born October 7, 1952.

Born in Sapporo, Hokkaido.

Debuted in 1973 with "Bokura no Matchmaking" (separate volume Margaret March issue). He gained the enthusiastic support of readers for the "Hamidashikko" series serialized in "Hana to Yume" for seven years from 1975. While the depiction of the inner world of human beings and the ability to compose stories are highly evaluated, they have also gained immense popularity in adorable character illustrations such as magazine frontispieces and appendices. Others include "Lou and Solomon," "X Day," "Sons," and "Billy Forest Jody's Tree."
He passed away on March 20, 1995.
