Outline
A work by Fontana who chopped a pure white canvas. At the same time as the auction hammer price, Banksy chopped the work in half with a shredder that was set behind the frame. They created a new "beauty (which Banksy seems to be the creation itself)" that destroyed the creative concept of art that had been constructed so far. It is the performance of thinking or creativity they were looking for, and the desire for new values. In the 1960s, Tatsumi Hijikata made his own body a work in Butoh, and at the same time, Zero Jigen promoted anti-art movement based on the naked body with a large number of people, using human beings and the body itself as materials for art. I was playing a performance. The gimmick that goes into the work this time is a new claim of art performance. A gimmick is a mechanism that exists between fantasy and reality, including not only physical but also visual ones, and moves our senses and consciousness back and forth. Please enjoy the performance of the work to your heart's content.
