- This time, Span Art Gallery will hold a solo exhibition "Moss Beast" by MATSUDA Ken. His work, which creates illustrations using pens and watercolors on the theme of coexistence of animals and plants, has been highly acclaimed for its delicate and powerful expressions that bring out vitality. In this exhibition, we will exhibit works focusing on "moss," which is a motif that Mazda has been drawing since its early works. Strength of vitality, reluctance, length of time. The image of "moss" is expressed by borrowing the appearance of an animal. In addition to exhibiting and selling about 15 Two-dimensional work including drawings, we also sell various goods. Please take a look at Matsuda's beautiful "moss beasts".

- MATSUDA KenKen Matsuda
- Born in 1990, from Yonago City, Tottori Prefecture. Graduated from the Department of Early Childhood Education, Faculty of Education, Shimane University. Self-taught using pens and watercolors, the main motif is the coexistence of animals and plants. After retiring from the city hall, he moved his base to Kanto in April 2019 and started full-scale production activities.
